Privacy Statement

Personal data that can be processed

BNS Data Logistics BV (hereinafter BNS) may process your personal data because you use the services of BNS and/or because you provide them to BNS yourself when filling out a form on the website. BNS may process the following personal data: first and last name, job title, gender, department, address details, telephone number, e-mail address, IP address, company name and associated name and address details, information about location, device, browser settings and surfing behaviour.

BNS needs this to execute the concluded agreement.

BNS may use your personal data in the context of executing an agreement of assignment concluded with you. For example, for sending a newsletter.

Contact after contact request

BNS processes your personal data in order to be able to contact you by telephone if you request this and/or to be able to contact you by e-mail and/or by post if we are unable to reach you by telephone.

Newsletter

To send a personal newsletter, we need your email address and full name. We only use this information to send the newsletter. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time via the link under each newsletter.

Optimize, improve and secure the functioning of the website

On the BNS website we keep track of general visitor data, including the IP address of your computer, the time of the request and data that your browser sends. We use this data for analyses of visitor and click behaviour on the website, for the security of our website and for the correct functioning of our website and associated plugins or web applications. BNS uses this information to optimise, improve and secure the functioning of the website. BNS may share this data with third parties or third party applications such as Google Analytics. See the paragraph 'Sharing with third parties'.

Functional cookies

We use functional cookies, which are necessary for the correct functioning of our site. Cookies are files, stored on your computer, for example to distinguish users or to store items in a shopping cart. You can delete these cookies at any time via the browser settings of your computer.

tracking cookies

In addition to functional cookies, we use tracking cookies. These analyze surfing behavior and research advertising preferences. We use external software for this (such as a Facebook pixel). Before we use these tracking cookies, we first ask for explicit permission during your visit to our website. You can find this display in the so-called cookie notice bar at the top of the page. You are not obliged to accept these cookies to visit our website. In addition, you can delete these cookies at any time via the browser settings of your computer.

After this, you will be asked for permission again. Personal data that is linked to your Facebook or Google account, for example, can be deleted via those organizations.

Use social media links

Our pages may contain plugins from social networks such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. When you use these and are logged in to one of these services, these networks may receive data about your surfing behaviour. When you visit our pages, these social media plugins can establish a direct connection between your browser and the servers of the social media. This allows these parties to know that you visited our website with your IP address. In this way, Facebook, for example, can link your visit to our pages to your user account. We would like to point out that we, as the provider of the pages, are not informed of the content of the transmitted data or its use by these companies. If you do not want these companies to link your visit to our pages to your social media account, you must log out of the social media channels before visiting our website.

Use other plugin scripts and webfonts

On our website we use JavaScript code for correct functioning and display. This can also come from a third party such as Google Webfonts. If you activate JavaScript in your browser but have not installed a JavaScript blocker, your browser may transmit personal data if a code is loaded by one of our suppliers. We do not know which data is linked to the received data and for what purposes this data is used. You can prevent JavaScript code from being executed by installing a JavaScript blocker (e.g. www.noscript.net).

How long BNS stores data

BNS does not store personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the goals for which we collect your data. We do not store your data for longer than 26 months if no agreement is reached with you, or after it is dissolved. Cookies can be removed at any time in the browser settings of your device.

Sharing with third parties

BNS will only provide your personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of an agreement with you, to comply with a legal obligation, or to optimize, improve and secure the operation of our website. This also includes sharing information with web applications, suppliers and hosting providers that are necessary for the operation of our site and web functionalities. We handle this data with care by sending it as anonymously as possible and concluding a processing agreement with 3rd parties that offer this agreement. Personal data can also be shared with third parties when we use tracking cookies. We only use these for our own marketing purposes and do not share them with or sell them to third parties. View, change or delete data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You can request access, correction or deletion by post [Witboom 2 | 4131 PL Vianen] or by email. BNS will respond to your request as soon as possible, but always within 4 weeks.

Security & Contact

BNS takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. The BNS website uses a reliable SSL Certificate to safeguard your personal data.

For questions or complaints about the processing of your personal data, you can contact us directly via info@bns.nl. We will do everything we can to help you as best as possible. Are you nevertheless not satisfied with the handling of your complaint? Then it is possible to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
